The trim and portable M-Audio Axiom 25 II mobile controller provides the performance and production power needed to optimize audio software and MIDI equipment use. The Axiom 25 has 25 semi-weighted keys that are designed in the piano style. These provide a more tactile, realistic, and satisfying playing experience. The unit itself is compact and can fit comfortably inside most backpacks. Programming beats and one-shot sample triggering is easier with the large dynamic trigger pads, while enhanced real-time software control is enabled by integrated knobs and buttons for encoding.

Often, a musical keyboard is described as a set of side-by-side keys that when pressed generate a sound on a musical instrument or device. Most keyboards have a set of keys for playing the twelve notes of the Western musical scale. It can have repeats of the scale at different octaves. Pressing or striking a key on the keyboard makes the instrument or device generate sounds. The mechanism for the sound production is varied: sometimes it is achieved by something touching a string with force and sometimes by the use of air being passed or forced through a channel.
